Fólk er beðið um að halda sig heima yfir versta veðurofsann, gæta öryggis og fylgjast vel með tilkynningum yfirvalda í fjölmiðlum.

Due to the expected storm tonight and tomorrow morning (Fridagy 14 Febrúar 2020) the Vestmannaeyjabær has decided to close all the municipalities institutions until noon tomorrow. The elementary school (GRV) will be closed all Friday.
The Kirkjugerði Kindergarden, Soli Kindergaredn, Vikin and the sports hall, incl. he swimming pool, will open at 12 o‘clock. The same applies to other institutions of the municipality. Lunch for the kids in the two kindergardens will not be served tomorrow.
Only minimum operation will apply to Hraunbúðir and Sambýlið nursing homes and guests are requested to stay home until noon at least.
People are asked to stay at home tomorrow morning, during the storm, respect all safety measures and follow further announcements from repective authorities (https://en.vedur.is).

Z powodu prognozy pogody i oczekiwanego sztormu jutro rano (PiÄ…tek 14 lutego 2020) Gmina Vestmannaeyjar zdecydowała zamknąć wszystkie urzędy i instytucje do południa w piÄ…tek. Szkoła podstawowa (GRV) będzie zamknięta cały piÄ…tek. Przedszkola Kirkjugerði,Sóli, Víkin i sala sportowa włÄ…cznie z basenem zostanÄ… otwarte o 12. Tak samo zostanÄ… otwarte instytucje i urzędy. Obiad w przedszkolach jutro nie będzie serwowany.
Minimalne natężenie pracy będzie w domu starców Hraunbúðir i Sambýlið i goÅ›cie proszeni sÄ… o pozostanie w domach przynajmniej do południa.
