Łącznie cztery osoby przebywają w izolacji, a trzy wyzdrowiały. Jedna osoba jest w kwarantannie, 79 ją zakończyło.
Sztab kryzysowy ponownie podkreśla, aby mieszkańcy miasta dbali o własną i ogólne kontrole zakażeń.
Powodzenia
W imieniu sztabu kryzysowego
Arndís Bára Ingimarsdóttir

Announcement from crisist authorities 24.08.2020
One individual living in the Westman Islands has been diagnosed with a confirmed infection with COVID-19, but the person in question was in quarantine and is closely connected to parties who had previously been diagnosed. This is therefore not a so-called new infection. A total of four individuals are in isolation and three have recovered. One individual is quarantined but 79 have completed quarantine.
The Action Committee reiterates the importance of the town residents continuing to take good care of individual and general infection control. We are now at a sensitive time where preschools have started work after the summer holidays and school work is starting in primary and secondary school and therefore it is extremely important that parents, guardians and older students take care of themselves, get acquainted and follow the instructions and rules that have been placed in connection with school work. This increases the chances that it will be possible to keep traditional school activities going. We all have to help.
Good luck.
For the Operations,
Arndís Bára Ingimarsdóttir, operations manager.
