Eyjamenn hafa staðið sig með eindæmum vel að virða reglur vegna faraldursins og hafa lagt mikið á sig til þess að svo megi vera. Sú staðreynd hefur skipt gríðarlega miklu máli og valdið því meðal annarra aðgerða að við náðum tökum á útbreiðslu faraldursins og náðum að koma í veg fyrir fjölda smita. Þið eigið öll hrós skilið fyrir ykkar framlag og hafið svo sannarlega sýnt að við erum öll almannavarnir.
Enn er þessu verkefni ekki lokið og við verðum áfram að gæta okkar, virða fjarlægðarmörk og reglur sem okkur eru settar. Þá er ekki síður mikilvægt að hver og einn gæti að eigin smitvörnum nú sem hingað til.

Nadal potwierdzona liczba zakażeń w Vestmannaeyjar wynosi 105 i szczęśliwie 101 osób wyzdrowiało w związku z czym tylko 4 osoby przebywają w izolacji i nie było ich mniej od 17.03.2020. 11 osób w Vestmannaeyjar poddanych jest kwarantannie.
Mieszkańcom wyspy udało się bardzo dobrze przestrzegać reguł i włożyli w to bardzo dużo pracy. Miało to ogromne znaczenie i spowodowało, że udało nam się powstrzymać rozpowszechnianie się wirusa i zapobiec dużej ilości zakażeń. Wszyscy zasługujecie na pochwałę za wasz wkład i pokazaliście, że wszyscy “jesteśmy obroną cywilną”.
To zadanie jeszcze się nie zakończyło i nadal musimy się pilnować, przestrzegać granicę dystansu i reguł jakie obowiązują. Ponadto bardzo ważne jest przestrzeganie zasad sanitarnych tak jak robiliśmy to do tej pory.
Szczęśliwego lata drodzy mieszkańcy Vestmannaeyjar i dziękuje za zimę nie do zapomnienia.

Announcement from the crisis authorities 24.04.2020
Confirmed infection in Westman Islands are still 105 and it is gratifying that 101 have recovered and therefore only 4 in isolation and have not been as few since 17.03.2020. Then there are 11 people in quarantine in the Westman Islands.Islanders have endured themselves with strict adherence to the rules of the epidemic and have put a lot of effort into doing so. This fact has been of great importance and, among other things, has caused us to seize the spread of the epidemic and to prevent a large number of infections. You deserve all the praise for your contribution and have certainly shown that we are all civil defense.
This project is not yet complete and we must continue to take care of it, respecting the distance limits and the rules we set. Then it is no less important that everyone could have their own infectious defense now so far.
