Residents and other guests gather for a parade. Departure at 13:45. There will be a police escort for the parade from Sport center down to Illugagata street, into Faxastígur street and on to Vestmannabraut street to Stakkagerðistún (Stakko). Flag bearers from the Scout Assosiation Skátafélagið Faxi lead the parade and members from Lúðrasveit Vestmannaeyja (brass band) play along. |

Hildur Rún Róbertsdóttir, chairman of the family and leisure council, will open the celebrations. Lúðrasveit Vestmannaeyja (brass band) plays. Music performance – Blítt og Létt group Speech - Geir Jón Þórisson Children from Víkin, oldest preschool department, sing some songs.
