Od 22 sierpnia nie stwierdzono w Vestmannaeyjar żadnego nowego zakażenia.
Dwie osoby zamieszkałe na wyspie poddane są izolacji, a pięć wyzdrowiało. Nikt nie przebywa w kwarantannie, a łącznie 80 osób ją ukończyło.
Sztab zachęca mieszkańców do wykazania się odpowiedzialnością i dbałość o indywidualną i ogólną ochronę zakażeń.

No new infections have been detected in the Westman Islands since 22 August.
Two individuals living in the Westman Islands are in isolation and five have recovered. No one is quarantined and a total of 80 have quarantined.
